STYLES TAUGHT: Classical, Rock, Pop, Acoustic, Electric, Composition, Arranging, absolutely all styles covered and taught.

EXPERIENCE: Over 4 years teaching experience, including lecturing at the University of Western Sydney

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Arts and Music, currently completing Masters

DAYS AVAILABLE: Monday - Fridays (mornings/afternoons/evenings) and Saturday mornings

Daniel teaches guitar in a range of different styles, from contemporary to classical and from beginner to advance levels.


He has completed a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Arts (Hons) in composition at the University of Western Sydney (UWS). In 2012, he received a commission to write a new work that was performed by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra as part of the Cybec 21st Century Australian Composers’ Program. This included mentoring by Australian composer Nigel Butterley. In 2010 he won an APRA composition prize and in 2013 was shortlisted for the APRA Professional Development Award in the classical category. He has also lectured and coordinated two core units in music history at the Australian International Conservatorium of Music (AICM) - with part-time lecturing at UWS in the ‘Music Composition’ and ‘Screen and Sound Technologies’ units. In 2013, his music was broadcast on the Austrian radio program ‘Kunstradio’, presented by Frequency Oz on a series called The Transmuted Signal. Recently, he was accepted into a PhD program at Huddersfield University (UK) to work with award-winning Australian composer Liza Lim.
